Mich hat es gestern aus einer Lufthansa-Maschine gespült und ich befinde mich an einem unzweifelhaft regnerischen Ort. Ich werde mich hier in den nächsten drei Monaten herumtreiben, kundig machen, lesen, fotografieren, aufnehmen und Spirenzchen wie Heimweh weitestgehend vermeiden. Ich bin in Portland, Oregon, USA, und ich habe einen Auftrag:

I want to look out for lifestyles, policies and decisions which contributed to making Portland one of the most-biked cities in the US.”

Das ist er, so ungefähr und dann doch etwas konfus dahingeworfen. Und was das alles zu bedeuten hat, klären wir später (ungefähr dann, wenn ich erfolgreich meinen Tag-Nacht-Rhythmus justiert habe).
